Current Study Session:

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm (note new time) we gather to study teachings and meditations of interest to Buddhist practictioners. New participants are welcome at any time.

On June 17 we will start reading and discussing Traveling the Path of Compassion: A Commentary on The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva by His Holiness the Seventeenth Karmapa Ogyen Trinley Dorje.  From Namse Bangdzo: "Motivated by the purest of compassion, the Gyalwang Karmapas have taken rebirth continuously since the eleventh century. The present seventeenth incarnation, Ogyen Trinley Dorje, was born in Eastern Tibet in 1985...  Known for his clear and direct teaching style, the youthful Karmapa radiates the brilliance of his heritage.  His commentary on The Thirty-Seven Practices of a Bodhisattva connects this revered text with our daily lives and our deepest aspirations." Copies will be available at the Center.
