Current Study Session:

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm (note new time) we gather to study teachings and meditations of interest to Buddhist practictioners. New participants are welcome at any time.

On August 19 we started reading and discussing Showing the Path of Liberation by Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche. We are also watching a DVD of Rinpoche giving this teaching at KTD in the fall of 2011.  From Namse Bangdzo: "This teaching was given by Rinpoche at the request of His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa especially for the benefit of western students, so that they may understand the nature of the path. Here Rinpoche gives a verse by verse commentary, which covers all aspects of the path and the practice according to the tradition of Mahamudra. He also gives a brief history of the lineage and early lineage masters."  Copies will be available at the Center.
