six week study, beginning March 10, of the Mahamudra teachings and life work
of Khenpo Karthar Rinpoche, in preparation for his visit here

The Seven Points of Mind-Training: Awakening the Heart of Compassion The
next series of Wednesday evening Buddhadharma classes will be devoted to
introducing ourselves to the Lojong or mind-training practice of
meeting all circumstances with compassion, considered to be the heart
of Mahayana practice. Details to follow. (Begins April 21)

Who
We Are
The Piedmont KTC (Karma Thegsum Choling)
is a Tibetan Buddhist meditation group belonging to the Karma Kagyu
lineage. We are affiliated with the monastery Karma Triyana
Dharmachakra, which is the seat of His Holiness, The 17th Karmapa, in
the U.S.
