Current Study Session:

Every Wednesday evening at 7:00pm (note new time) we gather to study teachings and meditations of interest to Buddhist practictioners. New participants are welcome at any time.

On Wed., Oct. 21 we will start a new series of introductory classes. These classes will be based on the acclaimed Ethics for the New Millennium by His Holiness the Dalai Lama. This text is addressed to a general audience, and it presents a moral framework based on universal rather than religious principles. It rests on the observation that those whose conduct is ethically positive are happier and more satisfied and the belief that much of the unhappiness we humans endure is actually of our own making. Its ultimate goal is happiness for every individual, irrespective of religious belief. Copies are available for purchase at the center.  Please join us.
